While in high school I took on a part-time job at Sonic. Over the course of my employment I learned how to manage a crew and how to treat customers. We brought the store from a 6 figure a year to 7 figure in one year. Often I was asked to perform managerial duties, like paperwork and closing the store.

At BP, in Texas City, I was responsible for maintaining sparks and safety on hot work jobs. When there was not any work going on, we maintained the grounds of the refinery. On occasion we "chipped" away concrete from "I" beams using 60 pound jackhammers.

I was accepted into the local by means of high math scores on pre-test. As an apprentice I sat in the back seat of the jobs to learn the trade. I was accepted in the trade school a year early due to attendance and foreman reports. I left the company due to personal issues.
